NAXC: Week 10 Our NAXC Banquet and Senior Recognition Night is THIS WEDNESDAY, October 16, at McKnight Elementary School cafeteria. The Fun Run is on Friday at North Park!
We have 2 meets this week. Monday: The Twilight Showcase at 4:15 pm at Seneca Valley High School and Thursday: The Tri State Invitational (TSTCA) at White Oak Park. Runners have been notified if they're running in one of these post-season meets. Bus information: for Twilight - leave NAI at 1:45 and leave NASH at 2 pm. Please stay tuned for bus and start time information for TSTCA.

We're collecting money for Toys For Tigers - we have a goal to raise at least $175, which will provide gifts for one child during the holidays. Two of our runners, Elinor Handel and Andrew Peigh, will be collecting checks (preferred! made out to NAUBO) or cash from teammates. You may also bring your donation to the banquet on October 16 and pass it along to one of the NAXC Boosters Board members.

Recognition Night Important Information This Wednesday evening is Recognition Night! Date: Wednesday, October 16, 2024 Time: 5 - 8 pm Location: McKnight Elementary Cafeteria, 500 Cumberland Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 Bring your extra $1 bills because we'll be raffling off some awesome items! Toys for Tigers NAXC will once again be participating in the Toys for Tigers drive, which raises money to provide hand-chosen, hand-wrapped gifts to local children for the holidays. This is an amazing program that spreads cheer and goodwill throughout the community.
This year, our Toys for Tigers team representatives are juniors Elinor Handel and Andrew Peigh. They will be collecting money from team members/families to support Toys for Tigers. Team members can give Elinor or Andrew donations of checks (preferred! made out to NAUBO) or cash. Donations may also be brought to Recognition Night. Last year we raised over $650. Let's beat that number this year!

Many of you know that Coach Sabo was to undergo surgery this past week—and donations were collected to support his recovery. In great news, he was able to postpone surgery so the donations raised will now go toward the Toys for Tigers effort. If you would like your donation returned, please contact the NAXC Boosters and we will gladly refund your entire donation. Thank you for supporting Coach Sabo. About the NAXC Boosters Association The North Allegheny Cross Country Booster Association (NAXCBA) is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the North Allegheny Cross Country runners and coaches. We are a group of parents who provide support for our runners by organizing pasta dinners, food tables for invitational meets, and weekly yoga classes. We supplement the Athletics Department by providing equipment and team t-shirts/hoodies for our athletes. We celebrate our runners by hosting a Recognition Night and other team related activities. To provide these services, the NAXCBA assesses dues and holds fundraisers to support team initiatives.
NAXCBA will communicate with you weekly during the season to relay important information regarding meet dates and directions, dates for fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and events to support our athletes.
