NAXC: PIAA State Championship Information

Hello parents - Congratulations to all of your runners! It’s such an honor and amazing experience for them to be part of North Allegheny's PIAA State Championship Team. Race times on Saturday, November 2 are 11 am for AAA Girls and 1:15 pm for AAA Boys.

In addition to the information that Coach Neff sent out in his email, the NAXC Boosters wanted to inform you of some volunteer and social activities for the parents. Please read below for information on:

• Mailbox decorating for athletes
• Food table donations
• Gift bags for athletes
• Team sweatshirt ordering
• Friday night dinner for parents (in Hershey)

Volunteer to help with mailbox decorating and the food table

Mailbox Decorating - Volunteers are needed to attach signs and balloons to runners' mailboxes next Wednesday afternoon, October 30, prior to 4:30 pm. A lead volunteer to help coordinate this effort would be appreciated! To help with decorating the mailboxes, please reply to this email. 

Food Table – The food table at the PIAA championship will fuel our runners, plus serve lunch for the coaches and families/friends that come to cheer. Please sign up here. PS - There are several grocery stores nearby if you want to pick up items on your way to the meet on Saturday. 

Order a team sweatshirt for your runner 

NAXC Boosters and Coach Sabo coordinated to create team sweatshirts for the runners and coaches. The cost per runner is $52.50. Payment may be made by check, cash, or electronic payment. Checks: Payable to NAXCBA. Checks or cash may be given to Andrew Peigh or Robin Kucler at practice. Friday night dinner and special thanks to Tri-State Orthopaedics

Friday night dinner – If you're coming to Hershey on Friday night (11/1), you're invited to join other team parents/family members for dinner at Piazza Sorrento restaurant at 8 pm. Please email Deanna (dgkucler@gmail.com) by this Monday evening if you plan to join the group–and include the number in your party. Seating is limited so please respond ASAP.
