Nine North Allegheny cross country and track & field runners signed letters of intent on Friday afternoon to run at the next level. Jack Bertram signed with Notre Dame, Robin Kucler officially committed to Wake Forest, Wren Kucler is headed to Penn State, Isbabella Costa, Kendall Lucas and Elizabeth Pizon signed to Duquesne, Grey Lowman and Sergio Abdalah will run next season at Slippery Rock University while Sebastian Klimchak officially committed to Denision.

Bertram was the sixth place finisher at the WPIAL Cross Country Championships this season while finishing in the top 50 at the PIAA Championships. Bertram was also the Post-Gazette Athlete of the Week for the week of September 9 for his performance at the Red, White & Blue Classic where he finished in fifth place.

Robin Kucler had a stellar senior campaign in cross country finishing in third place at the WPIAL Championships. Kucler was the first Tiger across the finish line leading them to their seventh straight WPIAL Championship. She finished in 25th place at the PIAA Championship.

Wren Kucler ran the first four races in the 2024 season before a hip injury sidelined her the remainder of the campaign. She was a huge part of the WPIAL Cross Country and Track & Field Championship teams her first three seasons.

Costa plays girls soccer in the fall and she had a goal this season and five in her career. In track & field, which is what she is going to do in college, Costa was a silver medalist in the long jump and high jump and helped the North Allegheny girls track & field team to their third straight WPIAL Championship.

Lucas finished in 18th place at the WPIAL Championships while giving the Tigers a 16th place finish at the PIAA Championships. Pizon set a lifetime best at the WPIAL Championships to finish in 12th place while coming in 15th at the PIAA Championships.

Lowman only runs in the spring. He won the bronze medal in the 300m hurdles at the WPIAL Track & Field Championships in 2023, which were held on the same track he will be running on in college. Abdalah will be running with Lowman at Slippery Rock University next fall.

Klimchak had a 49th place finish at the WPIAL Championships, he was the sixth Tiger to cross the finish line. He finished in the top 100 at the PIAA Championships.
